The guy behind the T-shirts
The achievements and failures of my life story are driven by a great desire to create. I have a career in software development, but my interests extend far beyond code. I’ve always been drawn to the elegance of mathematics, the wonders of science and also the amusing trivialities of pop culture.
The pivotal moment in my journey came when I lost my father, a dedicated mathematician. His legacy lived on in his meticulously crafted math textbooks, which became a powerful connection to him.
Climax of my life
My tragic loss coincided with Venezuela’s humanitarian crisis (2017-2019), as I witnessed firsthand the collapse of the educational system of my country during those years.
I made the decision to leave software and pursue a deeper understanding of mathematics. This wasn’t just about honoring my father’s memory; it was about exploring new skills to make a tangible difference.
The "ilustrator"
Although I have always found it challenging to specialize in a single field due to my diverse interests, I have chosen to embrace my generalist nature. While I may not be an expert in many subjects, I can take pride in being a knowledgeable amateur across a wide range of fields.
My idea of making t-shirt designs came up as a creative relief several years ago. I started to gather them in my cloud to make t-shirts for myself, but today I decided to share them for a noble purpose: to fund the distribution of mathematics books in Venezuela.
