Who are we?
You probably didn’t see this coming, but we are neither designers nor illustrators, we are a publishing house of mathematical books called Hipotenusa, and I, Roberto, am the one in charge of both, Hipotenusa and this new project, Pythagorean.
We work with on-demand manufacturing services within the United States and Europe so you can get free and fast shipping.
Why?
My father, a renowned mathematician, established this small publishing house several years ago to distribute the math textbooks he had written. Today, I carry on his legacy in Venezuela and Peru, both my countries.
Each item I sell on this website was designed by myself for my personal use, but now I have decided to share them with a wider audience for a noble purpose:
“funding the production and distribution of math textbooks for engineering students in Venezuela”
How your contribution helps?
We produce the most widely used math books in Venezuelan engineering schools, but the recent humanitarian crisis makes it necessary to provide books below cost, or even for free, in order to support Venezuelan students.
Like many academics, we believe that there is plenty of talent to lead this country out of the crisis.
